This stone built terraced cottage is located near to the village of Allenheads near to Allendale in the North Pennines and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.
Englewood Cottage is a stone-built terraced cottage dating back to 1854 just outside the village of Allenheads near to Allendale in the heart of the North Pennines. With one double bedroom, one twin and a family bathroom, this cottage can sleep four people. The rest of the accommodation is made up of a kitchen/diner and a sitting room with an inglenook fireplace and a multifuel stove. To the outside of the cottage is a riverside garden with outdoor furniture. Surrounded by spectacular moorland, Englewood Cottage is a fabulous cottage for guests who want to get away from it all.

Electric storage heaters with multi-fuel stove. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine, TV with FreeSat, video, DVD, CD player. Electricity and starter pack for multi-fuel stove inc. in rent. Please bring own bed linen. Pleasant riverside garden with garden furniture. Parking on quiet road. One pet by arrangement. Non smokers preferred. Supermarket 7 miles, pub and cafe with small shop 1 mile.

Reviews
We spent three wonderful weeks in Englewood Cottage. It was one of our best holidays in the last years. We had seen many places in this beautiful countryside: Hadrians Wall, castles, High and Low Forces, Lake District, Stone Circles, Bond Museum (that was for Dad), Galloway Mountains, Alnwick Castle (Harry Potter), St. Mary Lighthouse, Edinburgh, Gretna Green, steam engine in Alston. It was fantastic! The cottage is a lovely accommodation. We and our kids love this place!
